Join us for the popular walk from Clovelly to Appledore Lifeboat Station, a distance of 16 miles on the stunning South West Coastal Path. Leaving Clovelly at 09:00 with frequent Marshal posts, water, and first aid cover, the walk should take approximately 5 hours, reaching Appledore Lifeboat Station in the afternoon.
Transport is available for those wishing to return to Clovelly. Over one hundred people completed the walk last year raising £7,500 in support of the RNLI and Appledore Lifeboat. Many walkers have completed the walk several times.
Register now to take part in the walk and receive full details for the event. Each walker will receive an RNLI cap and wristband at the start, with a commemorative medal at the finish in Appledore, where a FREE BBQ will also be available.
Walkers must be 13 years old and accompanied by an adult at all times if under 16. Dogs are also welcome but must be kept on a lead with no more than one dog per walker.
We encourage walkers to seek sponsorship for the event as every pound raised will go to support the RNLI and Appledore Lifeboat. You can raise sponsorship by creating your own JustGiving page by following the link https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/appledore-lifeboat-walk-25 and then click on the ‘start fundraising’ button.
